The top terrorists who have been eliminated, so far, since October 7th, Israel has settled the score with several of the massacre's leading architects:
-On October 17th, 2023, an IDF airstrike eliminated Ayman Nofel, who served as the commander of Hamas' Central Camps Brigade and had in the past served as the organization's intelligence commander. Israel considered him to be one of the organization's "aces."
-On November 26th, 2023, Israel settled the score with another Hamas "ace" - Ahmed Ghandour. He served as the commander of the Northern Gaza Brigade and oversaw all terror operations in the northern Gaza Strip.
-On January 2nd, 2024, Saleh al-Arouri, the organization's deputy leader and one of the architects of the massacre, met his end in an airstrike in the Dahieh suburb of Lebanon.
-On March 26th, 2024, the IDF confirmed that it eliminated Marwan Issa, the deputy to the commander of Hamas' militant wing, Mohammed Deif. Issa was considered Hamas' chief of staff. He was one of the planners of October 7th and was even part of the command over it. Together with him, the IDF also eliminated Razi Abu Tama'ah who served in senior positions in the militant wing.
-On July 13, 2024, an IAF airstrike eliminated Mohammed Deif, the commander of the Hamas militant wing and one of the organization's symbols. For years, Deif managed to escape assassination attempts and continued to direct deadly terror attacks.
-On July 31st, Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh was eliminated in Tehran. In the final years of his life, he lived in Qatar where he continued to direct terror operations.
-On October 3rd, the IDF confirmed that senior Hamas official Rawhi Mushtaha, who was known as Sinwar's right hand, was eliminated in a tunnel in the Gaza Strip. Mushtaha was eliminated during the summer, but the official announcement only came once Israel was able to confirm.

"And today," the prime minister added, saying: "As we promised to do, we have come to terms with him. Today evil has suffered a severe blow, but the task before us is not yet complete."
"To the dear families of the abductees I say," Netanyahu addressed the families and said: "This is an important moment in the war. We will continue with all our strength until the return home of all your loved ones, who are our loved ones. This is our highest obligation. This is my highest obligation."
"I say to the residents of Gaza," said the Prime Minister: "Sinwar ruined your lives. He told you he was a lion, but in reality he was hiding in a dark den - and he was killed when he fled in panic from our soldiers. His death is an important milestone in the downfall of the evil rule of Hamas."
"I would like to say again," Netanyahu said to the camera: "In the clearest form: Hamas will no longer rule Gaza. This is the beginning of the day after Hamas, and this is an opportunity for you, the residents of Gaza, to finally be freed from its tyranny. The prime minister also said: "I call on everyone who holds our hostages: Whoever lays down his weapon and returns our hostages - we will allow him to leave and live. The return of our hostages is an opportunity to achieve all our goals and it is brings the end of the war closer."
He added: "To the people of the region I say: in Gaza, in Beirut, throughout the entire region - the darkness recedes and the light rises. Deif, Haniya, Sinwar, Nasrallah, Mohsen (Shukr), Akil and many of their partners - are gone. I call to you, people of the region: we have a great opportunity before us To curb the axis of evil and create a different future. A future of peace, a future of prosperity in the entire region. Together we can repel the curse and promote the blessing."

MK Tali Gottlieb in an unusual appeal to the residents of Gaza: "This is your only chance
created after the assassination of Sinwar and to assist in the return of the abductees: "Residents of Gaza, this is one and only golden opportunity for you!"
She revealed that the Israeli government offers a financial incentive to anyone who will assist in the return of live abductees: 2 million shekels in cash for every live abductee returned to the IDF. In addition, the Israeli government will also pay a million shekels for the bodies of abductees.
She also stated that Gazans who return abductees to the IDF will not be harmed, and may even leave for a third country if necessary, while promising to maintain their freedom. "You have the opportunity to buy your freedom," Gottlieb stressed.
"The Israeli government will not let up, and will continue to attack Gaza until all of its abductees are returned," Gottlieb added, and ended by blessing the IDF fighters: "God bless our brave fighters on the various fronts, who restore security and deterrence to the State of Israel."

Forensic pathologist Dr. Chen Kugel: Sinwar has been dying for a few hours. What killed him was a bullet that entered his head.
The director of the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Abu Kabir who dissected Sinwar's body said: "It is not standard to dissect such a person. It's only when you go outside and think about who this man is that you realize that even monsters can look like normal people."
The primary cause of Sinwar's death appears to be a long-range gunshot wound to the head, executed with sniper-like precision. He was first wounded by shrapnel, notes he tried to use makeshift tourniquet but ‘it wasn’t strong enough, and his forearm was smashed’.
'Surprisingly, despite the harsh conditions of underground warfare, Sinwar's body showed no signs of malnourishment. Weighing in at 152 pounds, it appears that even while orchestrating operations from hidden tunnels, the Hamas leader maintained access to adequate nutrition.'
Although the encounter itself in Sinwar was random, the southern command assumed that something was happening there - and decided to use a ruse like they did with Muhammad Deif.

The estimated toll of 1,127 is eerily reminiscent of Oct 7. Had the Times reported this pogrom it would have used the word “attack” it chose for its Sinwar tribute..'

Sen. Lindsey Graham is demanding answers on reporting that British International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor Karim Khan was accused of misconduct at the same time he was pursuing criminal charges against Israeli officials.
"Public reports indicate that allegations of harassment surfaced in early May – just a few days before Prosecutor Khan applied for arrest warrants against the Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Israel for alleged violations of law during the defensive Israeli-Hamas War," Graham, R-S.C., wrote in a letter. "The timing of the allegations is troubling, and only compounds the other strong legal, jurisdictional, and prudential objections I have expressed regarding the Prosecutor’s decision to seek arrest warrants."
On May 20, Khan requested arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, as well as Hamas leaders Yahya Sinwar, Ismail Haniyeh and Mohammed Deif. All three Hamas leaders have been killed in the past year.
Khan’s application was unprecedented – the first time the criminal court had sought arrests for Western-allied officials.
Prior to Khan’s warrants, he along with a group of senators was working to urge Khan to "adhere to the Rome Statute" and have a dialogue with Israeli officials before moving forward with their prosecution.
On that very day, Khan was set to travel to Israel to meet with officials before deciding whether to move forward with the warrant requests. But he never showed up. He publicly announced his warrant requests without any warning to the Israelis who had planned to make their case against them.
"It has now come to my attention through media reports that Prosecutor Khan was facing allegations of misconduct around the same time, and the resolution of this matter remains a mystery," the senator wrote in the letter. "The abrupt decision to cancel this visit to Israel, along with these contemporaneous allegations needs to be explained, and I request full transparency on the matter to ensure there is no conflict of interest."
Graham said he was "shocked" to learn Khan never showed up for his trip to Israel. "It was a complete change of what we were told that was going to happen, and we never really understood what happened – never made sense to me."
But last week, the Mail reported that around the same time, a female employee with the court informed senior managers about harassment claims made by another female employee against Khan. The woman "was so upset she was in tears."

Article: 'On Simchat Torah, We Mourn — But Also Hope..
In his 2016 book Essays on Ethics, Rabbi Jonathan Sacks wrote, “A people that can know insecurity and still feel joy is one that can never be defeated, for its spirit can never be broken nor its hope destroyed.”
This year, as Simchat Torah draws near, we are painfully reminded that joy and suffering often coexist. While it is a staple of the human condition for Jews, this paradox echoes relentlessly throughout our history.
In the Diaspora, we will feel this contrast differently. Shmini Atzeret — a day marked by solemnity with Yizkor and the prayer for rain — falls on the anniversary of October 7th. Only the second evening transitions into the joy of Simchat Torah.
In Israel, however, the two days merge into one, with the solemnity of Shmini Atzeret intertwined with the joy of Simchat Torah. This year, embracing the usual high spirits will be incredibly challenging for Israelis. The weight of national grief hangs heavy; indeed, no Simchat Torah will ever be the same again.
When we danced with the Torahs last year, despite knowing that a terrible attack was unfolding, the full extent of the horror was not yet clear. It was only after Simchat Torah ended that the devastating truth began to emerge: 1,200 people tortured, murdered, and mutilated; families torn apart; and hostages dragged into Gaza.
In the months since, every painful detail has come to light, making it nearly impossible to embrace the unrestrained joy that typically defines Simchat Torah. How can we celebrate when every smile is shadowed by memory, and every song tinged with sorrow?
And yet, my late mother’s story comes to mind — her first Simchat Torah after the Holocaust, celebrated in the city of her birth: Rotterdam, Holland. It offers a profound lesson for us today.
My mother was born in 1941, a year after my grandparents married during the Nazi occupation. The Nazis invaded Holland in May 1940, and began deporting Jews to concentration camps in 1942.
Fearing for their lives, my grandparents went into hiding, spending more than two years in a cramped space behind a closet in the home of a gentile friend. My grandfather, active in the Dutch resistance, emerged only at night to carry out covert missions against the Nazis — knowing the risks but refusing to submit to despair.
Meanwhile, my mother was taken in by a Christian couple who raised her as their own, shielding her from the terrors outside. After the war, they returned her to her parents.
When the Nazis were defeated by the Allies in May 1945, Jewish life in Rotterdam began to re-emerge, although only a fraction of the community remained — 75% of Dutch Jewry, more than 100,000 people, had perished in Auschwitz, Sobibor, and other camps.
That fall, the synagogue reopened, and Simchat Torah was celebrated once more. The Torah scrolls my grandfather had hidden with gentile friends were retrieved. Miraculously, Rabbi Levie “Lou” Vorst, who had survived Bergen-Belsen and the infamous “Lost Train,” stood at the helm of the diminished community.
But the celebration was bittersweet. Almost everyone in the synagogue had lost parents, siblings, spouses, or children. My grandparents had lost their parents, siblings, and their second child, my uncle Yitzchak, who had died of malnutrition during the war.
And yet, they danced. Survivors — many without homes or families — clung to the Torah scrolls as if their lives depended on it. My mother, only four years old, stood quietly in the synagogue, receiving candy from weeping survivors. With each piece placed in her open mouth, the message was clear: the future must be sweet, even when the past has been unbearably bitter...'

About 900 miles from Israel, in the early hours of Saturday, precisely 25 days after Iran's ballistic missile attack, reports of explosions in Iran began to emerge at 2:00 AM - Israel time, signaling the start of Israel's counterattack.
-The first wave began, as mentioned, at 2:00 AM (Israeli time) with reports of explosions in Tehran, as well as in Syria and Iraq, leading to the closure of their airspace. Reports indicated that this wave primarily targeted air defense systems in all three countries, likely to allow Israeli Air Force aircraft the freedom to proceed with their strikes. However, at the time, the situation was unclear: with the sound of explosions, frightened residents in Iran took to the streets, fearing that airports in the Iranian capital might have been hit.
-Shortly afterward, around 2:30 AM, the IDF spokesperson officially confirmed: "The IDF is carrying out precise military strikes in Iran, in response to the ongoing attacks by the Iranian regime against the State of Israel in recent months, in accordance with the directive of the political echelon."
IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari stated in an English-language declaration to the foreign media that Israel "has the right and obligation to respond" to Iran, "like any other sovereign country in the world." He noted the strike is a response to months of Iranian actions against Israel since October 7, including those by its proxies.
At this stage, the Iranians focused on downplaying the events, with reports from the country stating that the source of the explosion sounds was the air defense systems intercepting the IDF attack. Then, reports of another wave of attacks in Iran surfaced, along with footage of interception attempts in the skies.

The hit on factories producing surface-to-surface missiles was precise, to ensure significant impact. As pilots were still in enemy territory, offices of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant began releasing photos of them in the Operations Directorate's command bunker.
NYT reported that the strikes in the additional wave concluded about half an hour after they began, around 5:00 AM, targeting air defense systems, missile production facilities, UAVs, and launch sites.

The State of Israel reserves the right and duty to protect its citizens if the Iranian regime continues its attacks against Israel and its citizens."
"The extent of the damages and results will be revealed later, but already there is broader freedom of action for the IDF," they said. "We are focused on the objectives of the war in Lebanon and Gaza, and Iran is pushing for regional escalation. We are at peak readiness in defense and offense, with no change in the Home Front Command instructions at the moment. We are in ongoing intelligence and operational assessment. We have proven that we can strike at any point in the Middle East."
-About 20 minutes after the IDF's announcement, in a conversation with reporters, a senior White House official stated the U.S. fully backs Israel and warns Iran of "consequences" if it responds to the IDF strike — which was defined as "self-defense." According to the official, "We deployed a missile battery and acted to strengthen Israel's air defense systems in anticipation of tonight's response. President Biden and Vice President Harris have clearly demonstrated that we will always help protect Israel from Iran and its terrorist organizations."
-After attempting throughout the night to downplay the results of the strikes, at 6:30 AM, it decided to admit for the first time that "minimal damage" (sic) was caused at several sites, but falsely claimed that its air defense systems supposedly "succeded" in confronting "Israeli aggression (sic)."
