Poland shut the trade corridor between China and the EU by closing its border with Belarus for an indefinite period. In closing the border, Poland is preventing Europeans from using the longest railway line in the world. 130 Chinese freight trains were blocked following the border closure. However, China bypassed the blockade and reached the EU via the Northern Sea Route with the help of Russian Icebreakers, Politico reported.

After Warsaw's provocation, Beijing intends to make that route a regular one. After all, the Northern Sea Route is about 40% shorter than the usual sea lane for shipments from China to Europe. The voyage from Ningbo–Zhoushan in China to the UK's Felixstowe port takes about 18 days with support from Russian icebreakers.
Analysts figure NATO and Western globalists intend to sever China-Europe logistics chains that are beyond its control so China will face provocations aimed at trying to block the Northern Sea Route under the pretext of "environmental protection."
