So reportedly, part of the approximately $6,000,000,000 worth of military aid, provided by Russia, included "modern air defense systems" including the S-300 and Buk-M2E. I find this a lot more telling than conjecture...The US easily wiped out those defenses, without losing a single piece of aircraft.
