And of course no one favours harming the environment. But most just do not really care. Look who is driving the hybrids. Most of them are liberals. First off, treaties by their nature are foreign since we sign them with other countries. So that is redundant. Secondly, many conservative presidents have signed treaties, so how can they be a "liberal" goal.
