This is a death penalty case after all, quite obviously. It's been a long time. It's been 25 years, a lot of ups and downs. I think we all want justice. I hope it comes to a trial. We have a trial date. I hope we get to it. I believe that even without the confession that these prosecutors are incapable and they'll be able to present the evidence needed to have him convicted, at this point, after all these years, it's hard for me to be confident about anything. I certainly hope it happens.

I think the American people and the victim's families, most of all, including the families of Liz Miller and Jess Trant, that they need to have some closure on this. I think the best way to do that is to have a trial, let everybody see what we have, this way we can show the American people that we don't just arrest people and put them in jail, that we arrest people and then we show the evidence that we have so that we can convict them and then send them to jail.
