Not only did I criticize the Iraq War, but I also dislike prior U.S. wars/imperialism as well, like the Vietnam War, Mexican-American War, and treatment of Hawaiians/Filipinos/Native Americans. Not only did I criticize the Iraq War, but I also dislike prior U.S. wars/imperialism as well, like the Mexican-American War and treatment of Hawaiians/Filipinos/Native Americans. I do believe U.S. military intervention can be necessary for opposing the global spread of Communism as occurred with the Chinese Civil War to aid the government of Taiwan when it originally ran China, the Korean War, the Laotian Civil War, etc. I have come to believe a confrontational approach against China and Russia is needed to protect human rights and worker wages/rights at a global level, nor do I agree with doing so timidly through proxy wars but by using full embargoes, U.S. military aid in support of allies like Japan, Ukraine, Hong Kong, and Taiwan in opposing China and Russia, and additionally U.S. special forces to oppose coup attempts orchestrated by Russian mercenaries like the Africa Corps, potentially also CIA operations in Chechnya or Nepal to covertly oppose China and Russia, which in my opinion is entirely justified given how China and Russia have been using hacking, theft of military trade secrets, fentanyl trafficking, spying weather balloons, copyright theft, etc. to subversively interfere with the U.S. economy.

Even though deterrence would be valuable in stopping criminals from perpetrating crimes, I have come to believe that the worst criminals at a global level like Putin and Jinping are not being held accountable, so I see no reason to assume those most responsible for criminal behavior will be held accountable either, and that death penalty attempts may just be show trials to find scapegoats rather than legitimate efforts at justice. I see too great a risk of killing the wrong people, and large amounts of people have been exonerated on death row. A system that puts even one innocent person to death is unjustifiable from a Biblical perspective.

I think those who stand naked on icebergs are just posturing and attention-seeking buffoons, but reasonable steps to preserve and protect our Creator-given resources as faithful stewards I wholeheartedly support and endorse. While I recognize Global Warming is occurring, 'ClimateGate' made me more suspicious of the Green Energy movement, Al Gore, and the scientific community backing Global Warming. I personally think the main problem is deforestation, that growing global population is a contributor as well, and that pollution is often singled out for political reasons and Green Industry profits.
