|The title character practices feminism, mostly in the form of rebellion against her parents' views of gender roles and witchcraft. One episode features, in the background of a stadium scene, two men kissing each other and two women doing the same. This episode was incidentally released around the same time as the infamous reveal that LeFou is homosexual in the 2017 live-action remake of Disney's politically ambiguous animation ''Beauty and the Beast''.

|This short-lived series looks like an ordinary, apolitical, animated space sci-fi sitcom until it pushes the homosexual agenda. In the second part of the 4-part episode "Wednesday", Frankie, one of the main protagonists of the series, mentions that she and her unnamed "wife" gave birth to Elliott, revealing Frankie as a lesbian. The character artwork in this series is often criticized for being derivative of the Disney animated series Gravity Falls, given that it follows what is termed the "CalArts Style", named for a specific character design style commonly seen among those drawn by animators who studied at the California Institute of the Arts. The CalArts style can be seen in other shows such as Star Vs. the Forces of Evil, Steven Universe & The Amazing World of Gumball.
