When editing Conservapedia, one must '''assume good faith''' until given evidence to the contrary. Such evidence would be vandalistic edits, personal attacks, etc. Assume that when a user edits, they are doing so to benefit the encyclopedia, not hurt it.
A corollary to this is to be nice to newcomers. Assume good faith with them; even if their attempts at improving the encyclopedia are misguided, a little bit of guidance can turn a newbie into a dedicated contributor.
