'''Issachar''' (which means "reward") was the nineth son of [[Jacob]] and fifth of [[Leah]], the wife Jacob didn't love. His story is recorded in the [[Bible]] in the book of [[Genesis]] (Gen 30:16-18). His descendents were one of the [[Twelve Tribes of Israel]]. Jacob gave a deathbed blessing for Issachar just as he did his other sons. (Gen 49:14-15)
