Changes

Perhaps we should say "Buddhist teachings" instead of "teachings of the Buddha," because (if I am correct in my understanding of the meaning of the title "Buddha" as "enlightened one") we would appear to be endorsing one religious claim as more truthful than another. Saying "Buddhist teachings" is more neutral because it simply says that this is a particular religion's view on things, not that it is the statement of a figure we can say is objectively "enlightened." --[[User:John|John]] 22:34, 9 March 2007 (EST)
