His [[creation]] of man is described in the [[Book of Genesis]] in the [[Bible]].  Belief in God (specifically, belief in [[Jesus Christ]] as your personal lord and savior) is a necessary condition to go to [[heaven]] (rather than [[hell]]) in the afterlife.
