The Fourteen Points was a peace plan proposed by [[Woodrow Wilson]]. The point of this plan was to stop the humiliation of and economic damage to  the losers of [[World War I]]. In his plan, every person in every nation would have a say in their future by voting. His plan also called for freedom of the seas and the formation of a [[League of Nations]]. When the peace treaty was signed most of Wilson's fourteen points were taken out, but his plan for League of Nations survived.
