'''Anne of Cleves''' (1515 - 1557) was the fourth wife of [[Henry VIII]]. She was the daughter of a powerful German noble, and Henry married her in 1540 while following [[Thomas Cromwell]]'s advice to forge international bonds. The marriage was not what Henry had hoped and he had [[Parliament]] dissolve the marriage after six months. They had no children together.
