This six-day (Hebrew ''yom'') Creation account, in which man is created ''after'' the animals (verses 26-27 above), is contradicted by the version reported in the rest of chapter 2, in which Creation aparently takes only one day (once again, Hebrew ''yom''), and man is created ''before'' the animals (verses 18-19). This fact would tend to back up the biblical scholars' 'two-origin' suggestion above.
