'''Asteria''' was the Titan-goddess of dreams and prophesies of the night in ancient Greek mythology. She was the daughter of [[Coeus]] and [[Phoebe]], and sister to [[Leto]]. Her nocturnal prophecies are associated with astrology and necromancy. One myth has Asteria being pursued by [[Zeus]], whereupon she changed herself into a quail and leapt from heaven into the sea where she metamorphosed into the island of Delos for evermore.
