Green Day is a popular alternative rock band from California. They experienced success in the 90's and 2000's. They are known for their most famous albums Dookie and American Idiot. Green Day was criticized for not having the same sound when they moved into the American Idiot album. They have said a new album will be released in 2008 and have releaswed two singles since American Idiot. They have been The saints are Cumming, and a cover of John Lennon's Working Class Heroes. At their concerts for AI, They bashed Idiotic Americans, notably, George Bush, various politicans, and Jesus. They spent ages yelling about those fools, and god we love them for it :)
