Some consider [[Fox News Channel|Fox News]] to not be "mainstream media", because they are frequently present a different viewpoint to many of the above news outlets.  For example, the [[Democratic Party|Democratic]] [[2008_Presidential_Election#Declared_Democratic_Party_Candidates|presidential candidates]] will not appear on presidential debates hosted by Fox News, but they will appear on other news outlets.
