: Falsifiability is necessary but not sufficient for a particular proposition to be scientific. The point of this article is that the controversial aspects of evolution are not falsifiable. The fact that aspects of creationism are also not falsifiable (which is not in dispute) does not change the fact that ''evolution'' is not falsifiable, and is therefore not scientific.
