What does tax filing have to do with it? A joint form takes just as much time to prepare as two separate forms. Perhaps you are suggesting that society subsidize homosexuality for some reason. But subsidies should be reserved for good things, things that need to be encouraged and nurtured. Homosexuality is an evil.
