All's well that ends well
*Hahaha! Steal my asterik, will you? WOLF! Wisemike has been blocked for two hours. I think I saved him from a longer term at the hands of another Admin. Rob, glance at Woody Allen, and see if it is more fair, ok? All I know is from memory of the time in 1992; I don't think I ever really got a clear answer to the final disposition of the case, and wouldn't know which sources to trust. But on its face, it seems pretty fair, even light handed. It does not go into how the court ruled, or address any of the issues regarding an adoptee from a foreign culture who, even after reaching the age of consent, consented to marry him. On balance, Allen gets off pretty light here on an issue that potentially could cloud all his previous contributions to the betterment of society, culture, and humanity. ::I think that Mr. Thurmond gets off a little too lightly with this most recent version but I am not really out to "get" him or anyone else. I sort of wanted to provoke a dialogue/confrontation about the proper place or emphasis on the negative aspect of peoples lifes in their biographies. I am gratified to see that some changes have been made and more balance has been restored. I took the risk of being blocked yesterday by reinserting my edits to this article after fearing that the Woody article was heading backwards. Sincerely.
