Start article on only US plane to be named after a person
B-25 Mitchell was an American medium bomber used in both theaters in [[World War II]]. Named after General [[Billy Mitchell]], it is the only plane in the American military to be named after an individual. The plane was a highly devastating bomber and the design was also used to make photo recon planes. On July 28, 1945 AD, a B-25 crashed into the [[Empire State Building]], killing 14
people.
