Theistic Evolution can also be said to be a contradictory idea.  Evolution was designed to give an alternative to Creation because people did not want to believe in God.  Evolution is an Atheistic idea. Theistic Evolution tries to take the Atheistic idea of Evolution and fit it with belief in god and ends up not really fitting with either idea.

Theistic Evolution can also be said to be a contradictory idea as Evolutionary theory is usually perceived as contrary to Christian Creation stories.
