Mitch Landrieu(1960 AD-) is the current Lieutenant Governor of [[Louisiana]].<ref>http://www.crt.state.la.us/ltgovernor/biography.aspx </ref> He is of the Demoractic Lousiana Landrieu clan which has had other politicians such as his father [[Maurice Edwin Landrieu]] who was the mayor of [[New Orleans]] and [[Mary Landrieu]] who is the current senior Senator from Louisiana. Mitch Landrieu has a law degree from [[Loyola University]]. He made an unsuccessful bid for mayor of [[New Orleans]] in 1993, then was elected Lieutenant Governor in 2003 and made another unsuccessful bid for Mayor in 2006.
