The '''Khmer Rouge''' was the Cambodian communist organization led by [[Pol Pot]]. They seized control of Cambodia in 1975, and were ousted by Vietnam in response to Khmer Rouge attacks occurring on the Vietnamese/Cambodian border. However, during the four years that the group was in power for, they managed to kill 7 million people, or almost 25% of Cambodia's population at the time.
