According to a [[Barna Group]] study, the percentage of [[atheists]] getting divorced is lower than that for born again [[Christians]] or [[Jews]], a statistic that is widely circulated. What is not as well reported is that since born again Christians choose not to co-habitate in the same proportions as non-Christians, they are more likely to marry. Once reason that a greater proportion of atheist marriages succeed could be that most atheist marriages have the advantage of a "trial marriage" period which gives them the opportunity to break off the marriage at that point if it isn't working.
