Lot was a relative of Abraham who came with him from [[Ur]] of the [[Chaldees]] (Genesis 11). Lot is famous for living in [[Sodom]]. He offered his daugthers to the [[Sodomites]] when they wanted to get two angels who were staying at his house (Genesis 19). WHen God decided to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, Lot fled with his wife and daughters. Even though they were told not to look back, Lot's wife looked back and was turned into a pillar of [[salt]]. Later, Lot's daughters got him drunk and lay with him in order to bear children. The sons of Lot and his two daughters were [[Moab]] and [[Ammon]] (Genesis 19:37-38).
