Hey, my name's Mike Zoeller, a seventeen year-old junior student at Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale, [[New Jersey]]. I joined [[Conservapedia]] on the 28th of August, 2007, after being a regular user for a couple months after my "conversion to [[conservative|conservatism]]". Now, what does that mean, you ask? Well, my parents are both registered [[Democratic Party|Democrats]], and so I was raised rooting for [[Al Gore]] and [[John Kerry]] in the [[United States presidential election, 2000|2000]] and [[United States presidential election, 2004|2004 Presidential Elections]] respectively, and for the Democrats in general during the 2006 Midterm Elections. But, recently, reading the book "Imperial Life in the Emerald City" by Rajiv Chandrasekaran (oddly, that's not a Conservative book at all!) in the last month of my sophomore school year made me really think about what it means to be an American. I chose to convert to conservatism, and I thank [[God]] for converting me now so that I can register [[Republican Party|Republican]] as soon as I turn eighteen.
