Perhaps to create the illusion of scarcity. What if oil was not really a [[fossil fuel]] made eons before Adam and Eve? What if there is no Santa Claus? Tooth Ferry? Easter Bunny? Then the myth of [[Peak oil]] would not be possible either. The only real question is did G_D make a fixed amount of oil or is there a process that creates oil? Either way ... we are probably supposed to find ways of doing without it or to find out how to make oil.[[User:KirjathSepher|KirjathSepher]] 14:21, 1 September 2007 (EDT)
