The '''Seven Days' Battles''' were battles, which occurred in the [[American Civil War]]. They began on June 26 and ended on July 3. They happened when Confederate General [[Robert E. Lee]] decided to attack the Army of the Potomac under General [[George B. McClellan]]. The battles were indesisive for either side and only resulted in President [[Abraham Lincoln]] firing McClellan. Battles that occurred were: Mechansville, Gaine's Mill, Savage's Station and Malvern Hill. The total casualties of the battles were:
