And we can all draw conclusions about the window by demonstrating via an experiment the same thing. But you're still assuming animal-A evolved into animal-B without any evidence whatsoever to back that claim up. Again, you're relying on the scientist's word that this happened. The claim that is made is not that we evolved from chimpanzees, but rather that chimpanzees and humans had a common ancestor (that was neither human nor chimpanzee). There is a significant amount of evidence of this (that I am sure some here will dispute) from commonality of DNA structures to prehistoric hominids that exhibited characteristics of each modern species. --[[User:Mtur|Mtur]] 20:19, 12 March 2007 (EDT)
