Although O'Reilly made the restaurant comparison as an example of how silly he had long known anti-black prejudice to be, Media Matters pretended he had been "suprised" to discover just recently that they were comparable. [http://mediamatters.org/items/200709210007?f=h_top ] They chose to misinterpret the phrase "couldn't get over the fact that there was no difference" as in indication of surprise rather than taking O'Reilly obvious meaning of, "See? This is what I was saying all along."
