'''Frank Gifford''' (1930 - ) was a famous [[National Football League]] running back for the New York Giants during the 1950's including being voted the MVP for 1956 after leading the Giants to the NFL championship. Gifford was sidelined with a head injury for 18 months after being blindsided late in the 1950's, and returned as a wide receiver before finishing his career as a defensive back. He is the only man to have been voted to the [[Pro Bowl]] in three different positions.
Gifford went on to a successful broadcasting career in [[Monday Night Football]] which he announced as part of a team from 1971 until 1998, when an extra-marital scandal caused him to leave annoucing.
Gifford has been married three times, with his latest marriage to the much younger [[Kathy Lee Gifford]] from 1986 to present. They have two children together and he has three children from a previous marriage.
