Product Rule

The product rule is a rule in Calculus pertaining to the derivative of two variables or functions. The Leibniz notation is as follows:

d(uv)/dx = u(dv/dx) + v(du/dx)

or "the derivative of u times v with respect to x equals u times the derivative of v with respect to x plus v times the derivative of u with respect to x."
