Naturally the heroes were stunned and appauled. − − Superhero registration was imposed overnight, and all heroes were expected to work full time for the Government. Tony Stark led the patriotic mission of capturing any that did not comply. Many "capes" (term for those with powers) refused and Tony bravely hunted them down, locking them up without trial so as to avoid any further disturbances. Tony was given full Government support in doing so, and while he had his critics they quickly fell to his awesome might. − − Even Spider-Man, who had once withheld his identity to protect himself, complied and revealed himself on national television. Tony Stark reassured him no danger would come of this decision. − − Tony's continued vigilence in upholding the law was heralded throughout the Marvel Universe. Those who tried to rebel against the Government failed. Some even died, though it was no one of note or importance in the grand scheme of things. − − Tony Stark continued, as a hero to prove that dedication, and abiding by the law at all times proves to be the wisest, if not the only path to heroism.
