Boomer bacame a woman in the 2004 series and she was once again a fighter pilot. Her real name was Sharon Valeri and she was nicknamed Boomer. She was later found to  be a Humanoid Cylon sleeper agent. She did not realize this herselve until an exact replica of her got onboard the Galactica and shot Adama. She became a prisoner and helped the fleet avoid Cylon attacks.
