Many liberals consider science to only apply to natural phenomenon, thus removing [[God]] and [[Jesus]] from science. [[Intelligent Design]] is one branch of science that includes an "Intelligent Designer" to explain the universe, and especially the diversity of life. Though for political reasons in the US, Intelligent Design scientists do not refer to [[God]] and [[Jesus]], most believe God to be the designer.
