Adultery is the sin of "knowing" or "laying with" someone other than your husband or wife. The Bible forbids adultery in the [[Ten Commandments]]. The punishment for adultery, according the Bible, should be death. Most, if not all, Christians don't follow this punishment because we don't have to follow the law any more - just believe in [[Jesus]].
