'''Teacher Pay''' is a controversial subject in the United States. Liberals, leftists unions, and of course, teachers are in favor of enormous pay raises for teachers. In general, conservatives propose that a voucher program be implemented, which would increase teacher pay through the free market. However, many people continue to complain about the low pay of teachers.

==Teacher Opposition to Issues Regarding Pay==
Teachers are generally against a school voucher program, stating that it would lower teacher pay. However, many believe the competition for good teachers in a free market would substantially increase teacher pay.
Teachers generally oppose charter schools and homeschooling, as it gives less money to their bloated government bueracracy.
