Feminism is sometimes said to be the philosophy  that women deserve to have rights equal to those of men. However most feminist writing today concerns abortion, domestic violence, rape, maternity leave, lesbian rights, child custody, comparable worth, and other issues that have little to do with having equal rights with men.

The Bible says, "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
