::I just ran a search on all 5 volumes of the Report of the [[Subversive Activities Control Board]] {[http://quod.lib.umich.edu/cgi/b/bib/bibperm?q1=81242 Search]) and didn't find any matches under that name; it is not on the [[Attorney General's List]] of 1948, either. So any information will need a further vetting. Did the organization ever exist under other names? What about its leadership and members? Where any prominent members also [[CPUSA]] members? Questions of this nature. Thank you. [[User:RobSmith|Rob Smith]] 20:53, 8 November 2007 (EST)

:::Unfortunately, I don't have a user name or password to search the directory, but the WGA is the successor organization to the Screen Writer's Guild which counted members of the Hollywood Ten including Samuel Ornitz, John Howard Lawson, and Lester Cole amongst it's founding members.
