[[Alvin Plantinga]] was a [[Colombian]] freedom fighter at the turn of the [[20th century]]. Plantinga encouraged violent protests against the economic and social infiltration at the hands of the Spanish. Plantinga is best known for fighting against the economic [[mercantilism]], where the European traders would buy their raw sugar cane at basement prices, and then resell them finished sugar at a substantial markup.
