:Yes, the quadratic equation is ax^2 + bx + c = 0. The quadratic function is y = ax^2 + bx + c or f(x) = ax^2 + bx + c. I think the article has blended the two a little [[User:TheGuy|TheGuy]] 17:31, 10 November 2007 (EST)
