The '''Jokela school shooting''' occurred on November 7, [[2007]] at Jokela [[High School]], a public [[secondary school]] in the town of Jokela, Tuusula municipality, [[Finland]].
The incident resulted in the deaths of nine people: one female adult-student (age 25) five male students (age 16-18) and ; the school principal, Helena Kalmi (age 61); the school nurse (age 43); as well as Pekka-Eric Auvinen himself (age 18), who was also one of the school's students. Only hours before the incident, Auvinen, a liberal activist, posted a video on [[YouTube]] predicting the massacre at the school.
