In the first section, marsupial is being defined as an animal which has a pouch on its belly. In the last section, it says that koalas pouches are on their backs. Can someone who knows about this fix this seeming contradiction?--

:It wasn't a contradition, but it was, as you say, a ''seeming'' contradiction. "Toward the rear" did not mean "on the back", but (in the case of koalas who tend to be upright clinging to trees), ''downward''. I've altered the article to clarify that. [[User:Philip J.
