Bender is a robot from [[Futurama]]. He is silver, tall and sort of looks like [[Homer Simpson]], he is also a rude, amoral robot who likes to steal and is a bad role model for kids.

Bender is a fictional character on the cartoon Futurama. He is a bending unit. He used to work as a bender for a company that makes suicide booths. He quit this job and became suicidal himself when he learned what the girders he used to bend were used to build. While in line to commit suicide in a suicide booth Bender met his future bestfriend/roomate/pet Philip J Fry. Fry was new to the year 3000 and thought he was in line to use a telephone booth. The two enter the booth but fail to be killed, and decide to go for some drinks.
