Bender is a robot from [[fictional character on the cartoon Futurama]]. He is silver, tall a bending unit. He used to work as a bender for a company that makes suicide booths. He quit this job and sort of looks like [[Homer Simpson]], became suicidal himself when he is also learned what the girders he used to bend were used to build. While in line to commit suicide in a rude, amoral robot who likes suicide booth Bender met his future bestfriend/roomate/pet Philip J Fry. Fry was new to steal the year 3000 and is thought he was in line to use a bad role model telephone booth. The two enter the booth but fail to be killed, and decide to go for kidssome drinks.
