::: I (in theory) ''did'' observe what you were wearing yesterday.  I observed it yesterday.  That's why I said that I observe them ''whilst they are happening''.  But nobody was around to observe scales evolving into feathers.  [[User:Philip J. ::::What you observed yesterday, happened yesterday, and this experience is not in the present anymore. You refer to memories of the past. You might trust them they are your memories. But what happens if your eyewitness is another person that you may or may not trust? Do you have an eyewitness for him witnessing what he says he saw. Of do you try to get him to tell you some details that you can check now in the presence, to figure out if his story holds water. And what is there was no eyewitness. Like in the fridge example. Do you then give up apriori to explain what happened? [[User:Order|Order]] 09:07, 29 November 2007 (EST)
