:Assuming you are aware of evolutionary theory, then you are aware that incest was the primary means of reproduction for billions of years.  So what do you have against the evolutionary view?  Would you prefer we never existed? [[User:Learn together|Learn together]] 23:56, 10 December 2007 (EST)

::Of course I see incest as illicit, do you not? Incest within humans produces deformaties and that are not produced in incest within the animal kingdom. The Book of Leviticus states that incest is a sin and i fail to see the merits of the creation of only two humans. You have also answered my question with another question. :::Untrue -- we are subject to the same laws as all biological organisms.  Incest in all complex creatures (I.E. -- All animal life) produces the same results. [[User:Learn together|Learn together]] 14:10, 15 December 2007 (EST)

:::Why not two humans?  Whatever your view on the origins of life, the starting point was not a large group.  And current view on speciation are that it is the result of a mutation within a single organism.  As far as questions, they can help you to think.  Here's one that might provide you with insight that will go along with your quote from Leviticus.  Why weren't there speed limits for cars in 1800?  The answer you come up with can be applied to Leviticus as well.
