The '''London Bombings''' (7/7) was a series of terrorist attacks carried out by Islamic extremists on the public transport system in London on July 7 2005. All the attacks happened during the morning rush hour. The bombings killed 52 commuters, all 4 of the suicide-bombers and injured 700 others. The attacks caused chaos in central London and effectively stopped all public transport in the capital.
