Road rage can result in criminal offenses, and even death. Sometimes the car itself is the weapon, while other times a firearm or knife is used. Sometimes things like crowbars, sticks and branches and other objects that can be used to damage a vehicle or harm a driver are used.

Due to the anger displayed, weapons can and are used; such drivers have been known to pull out guns or knives; crowbars, tools, baseball bats and tree branches have also been employed as weapons; and there have been incidents in which the car itself has been used.  The tragic results are damged vehicles, injured or killed people, and the perpetrators spending many years to life in prison.
