Christopher has been a financial services professional for many years, firstly in the public accounting sector in Guyana and more recently in the non-profit accounting industry in the USA. He is a qualified accountant, tax advisor and financial planner and also writes poetry, the latter some of which has been published in a number of American poetry anthologies. He dabbles in art and is an amateur photographer.

A deeply religious individual, Christopher is convinced that it was through God's providence that he survived a near-fatal accident in Guyana in 1978.

A deeply religious individual, Christopher is convinced that it was through God's providence that he survived a near-fatal motot vehicle accident in Guyana in 1978. Apart from a number of minor injuries, he suffered a broken leg and an almost severed hand in the accident.
